Notary Near Me Sterling Heights MI
An elderly man signs a paper on a clipboard in a sunny hospital room while a notary holds it steady and his son looks on.

Hospital & After-Hours Signings

I notarize at the bedside in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes and assisted-living facilities. Evening and weekend appointments are available.

Can a notary come to the hospital?

Yes, a notary can come to the hospital. I notarize at the bedside. The signer needs the same current photo ID as anywhere else (MCL 55.285(6)(c)).

Please let me know the facility, floor and room number. I will plan the visit around its rules.

Need witnesses? Please arrange them ahead of time, or ask me for an extra witness when you book. Please do not count on hospital or facility staff to act as witnesses.

The signer must be alert and able to understand what they are signing. I am not able to judge medical capacity, so if the signer cannot understand the document, I will decline to notarize it (MCL 55.285(8)). I will tell you at the bedside, clearly and privately.

Travel starts at $35 and is quoted at booking.
